I have listened to this CD many times. It really pleases me.
The sounds of Vangelis are as if they come from the cosmic space or from another planet.
The experience gets even better, if you visit some beautiful neighborhood, for example Rosslyn, or Crystal City around Washington DC, and then listen to Vangelis. Then you will have a fantastic voyage of images and sounds that inspires you and transcends you in another world.
The movie that uses this soundtrack ("Bladerunner") is also very inspirational.

Originally I got this CD for wedding music (my bride wanted HYMN from the Album "Opera Sauvage"). Then I found out how well the other soundtracks on this CD were composed and played. I especially liked the composer's interpretation of CHARIOTS OF FIRE from the Album "Chariots of Fire". I decided this would be appropriate music for the candle lightning ceremony before the wedding. This CD is a good starter album for those hearing the Vangelis music for the first time or wanted to start a Vangelis collection.

Vangelis might be known for Chariots of Fire, but his other works are simply beautiful. From the exciting (Blade Runner) to the soothing (Chariots). This is as priceless as Ludwig van Beethoven or Bach. A pure gem.
