A much better album than disc two of forty licks but............

It's true that this is a much better album than disc two of Forty Licks but I would just buy Forty Licks and then if you want more of this era purchase Some Girls, Sticky Fingers, Black and Blue, It's Only Rock and Roll etc.
Also, WHERE IS HAND OF FATE!!! Hand of Fate is one of the best songs the Stones ever did and it isn't on here.

Find it cheaper at Target!

Pretty good album, although it doesn't include all their hits it has plenty of good music to rock out to, good basic intro. album. My only comment is that IT IS WAY CHEAPER AT TARGET! They have it for $9.99, as was alot of the other items I purchased on my last big order. I am cool paying comparable prices, but when all was said and totaled, I lost $ buying online at amazon. I am sure I will still shop here but was just bummed that I got played thinking amazon had better prices.

Better collection than Disk 2 of Forty Licks

I prefer this compilation over Disk 2 from "Forty Licks" for a couple of reasons. First, there are fewer edited versions of songs. "Beast of Burden" is the same edited version on both disks but "It's Only Rock 'N Roll", "Emotional Rescue", and "Undercover of the Night" are not edited here, unlike on Disk 2 of "Forty Licks". Second, this collection includes the excellent "Waiting On A Friend" and the solid "Rock And A Hard Place" (though an edited version here). Other songs included here but not on "Forty Licks" include "Harlem Shuffle", "Respectable", "Bitch", and "Hot Stuff". The first song is a pretty decent cover, the next 2 are just okay, and the 4th song stinks. This collection would have benefitted from having "Shattered", "She's So Cold", and perhaps one or two songs from "Voodoo Lounge" (you would have to change the '93 to '94 in the title, of course). Overall, this is still a solid collection of 70's and 80's Stones Hits.
