I am a huge Rolling Stones, AC/DC and Zep fan, so I bought this Legacy CD just to try some different rock. And now I am on the way to get all of their studio/live albums. Maybe the best rock "best of" compilation of songs available. GET IT, NOW!

The Doors had the abiltiy to write these song's.. that I mean can always bring a smile to your face or make you feel good!!

''PEOPLE ARE STRANGE'' is my fave song by them, I find it really STRANGE how that song explain's my life alot!!

''WHEN YOUR STRANGE NO ONE REMEMBER's YOUR NAME''.. SO TRUE!!!

They had such a massive sound and are one the most INFLUENTIAL rock band's EVER!!! Jim was the KING!!!

I feel 100% NO ONE really understod them, their vision was more on my kind of field..THE LONER's OUTLOOK!!!

THE DOORS had to be THE greatest band ever!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

''TOUCH ME BABE'' haha!

The best Doors CD you'll ever own!

I wish people would stop complaining. There is nothing wrong with this compilation! This double dose of Doors features every major song off all their albums in chronological order. The best album is their first, and every memorable cut from that album is on this one. Of course, Light My Fire, Crystal Ship, 20th Century Fox, Whiskey Bar, The End and more. All the other five albums are represented nicely with People Are Strange, Hello I Love You, Touch Me, Roadhouse Blues, Riders In The Storm, L.A. Woman, Love Her Madly and so much more. The only minor quibble I had was the omission from Strange Days, "You're Lost Little Girl", but when you consider all that's on here, you realize that this may be "The Best Doors CD you'll ever own".
The sound is excellent, plus you get all the info on recording dates, peak position etc. along with some nice photos in the little booklet. The Doors were a tragic story, actually Jim Morrison was a fascinating study of a self-destructive artist. To many folks he was just a drunken fool, but you cannot deny he did make life a little bit more interesting. Highly recommended!
