Long after the "buzz" of "Sleepwalk", Santo & Johnny were still making "dual-steel guitar" versions of other popular songs of the Later '60's and even well-into the '70's.

Definitely look into their out-of-print catalog which at least there is plenty of on vinyl, released on Imperial Records, and hope someday (even packaged as a "Two-On-One") it will make it onto CD!

With songs like, "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head", "Cycles", "A White Park Bench On A Rainy Day" and The Turtles'/Byrds' "You Showed Me", You really gotta hear MORE of what these guys can do!

You will love this CD. You will play it over and over again. Santo Farina and Johnny Farina are brothers born in Brooklyn, New York. The first tune on this CD is their first national hit "Sleepwalk". Here you will hear how well Santo and Johnny have mastered the steel guitar. You have hear "Sleepwalk" probably in a movie a time or two. It also sounds like "beach music". Sounds great on your tv set if you own a Playstation One to play it on. You can play this CD while you are in the bathtub for relaxation. It also sounds great for a party.
Other good tunes that sound moody by Santo & Johnny are: Tear Drop, Summertime, Twistin' Bells, I'll Remember (In The Still of the Night), Over The Rainbow, Venus, Deep Purple, Blue Moon, Tenderly.
There are 24 tunes in all and many of them recorded in "Stereo". This is the very best of Santo & Johnny.

Santo & Johnny -- the Farina brothers -- enjoyed a little more than life's obligatory 15 minutes of fame -- maybe a couple year's worth of DJ plays of their steel/rhythm guitar instrumentals. Now, thanks to "The Best of Santo & Johnny," the 15 minutes continues nearly a half-century later, with 24 tracks led, of course, by their biggest hit, Sleep Walk. Nothing they recorded that charted isn't here. And, with two dozen tunes, there's plenty of Santo & Johnny's "non-charters" to enjoy as well.
