"Country" features a mix of slow ballads and up-beat tunes with a country jazz flavor. Two of Pete's ver best performances are here. The highlight is "Born to Lose" -- Never has any performer touched this song with such grace and emotion. There is more feeling in Pete's version of this classic than in all the other recordings of this song combined. I have never heard him play it without having a lump in my chest!

Another feature is "I Love You SO Much It Hurts" which was the theme song for my favorite radio DJ on San Antonio's KITE-AM radio in my teenage years in Texas. A great classic played wiht finesse and feeling!
