Great for new and old fans

I've always liked No Doubt but never bought an album I think this CD is great for fans like me that like No Doubt but don't have any of their previous albums. This is a nice compilation of No Doubt's ever changing style throughout their decade long career. New fans desperately need to purchase this and listen closely, while older fans can relive their magic and trust, Their cover of Talk Talk's "It's My Life" is brilliant, and it makes one recall all the other brilliant material that Gwen & the boys have cooked up over the years. However, I don't really remember too many of them being hits before they struck gold with "Just a Girl" in 1995.
No Doubt have churned out some great material over the years although they really didn't hit it big until the mid-90. This includes all of their top 40 hits. "Don't Speak" was their biggest hit going to #1 on the radio airplay chart for several weeks. They also have had a handful of other top 10 hits including "Spider webs", "Underneath It All" and "Hey Baby." Other top 40 hits include "Just A Girl", "Hella Good" and my personal favorite "Bath Water."
You will not regret it. Listen to how this great band has evolved over the years--from the ska-driven band they were in the late 80's and early 90's (as demonstrated on "Trapped In A Box", included here) to the innovative New Wave/Pop-Rock band they recently are. Like I said earlier if you haven't own any No Doubt already, buy this CD--you'll recognize every song and for those lyrics you didn't know you'll have the words to sing along to.

For the past 13 years now, a ska-punk-pop-rock band called No Doubt has rocked the entertainment world.
This is my rankings of each of the song with a little comment regarding the song next to it:

1. Just a Girl 10/10 Their first big hit, and it's obvious why.
2. It's My Life 7/10 Their newest single. It's pretty good.
3. Hey Baby ft. Bounty Killer 8/10 Great song that's very catchy.
4. Bathwater 9/10 A very underrated song that deserves a mention.
5. Sunday Morning 9/10 Just read what I said about 'Bathwater'.
6. Hella Good 10/10 Fantastic guitar riffs and just an awesome song.
7. New 6/10 Um, this is okay, but definitely not their best.
8. Underneath It All ft. Lady Saw 9/10 Beautiful song that will definitely soothe the soul.
9. Excuse Me Mr. 6/10 This is an alrighty song...kinda blah.
10. Running 8/10 This is also very underrated, and a beautiful song.
11. Spiderwebs 10/10 The first No Doubt song I've ever heard holds a special place in my heart. *awww!*
12. Simple Kind of Life 8/10 This will take a while to get used to, but a lovely song nonetheless.
13. Don't Speak 10/10 Okay, by far the best No Doubt song ever and even one of the best songs ever.
14. Ex-Girlfriend 8/10 A great song to listen to.
15. Trapped In a Box 8/10 This is a truly bizzare song and I love it!!!

8/10 *Highly Recommended*

This album has one of the best songs ever!!! I love the song Don't Speak. It is the best song to listen to when ur feeling sad. It is the best song to listen to when you are losing a friend. It is also a good song to listen to when you hate someone for doing you wrong, either as a friend or as a boyfriend/girlfriend.
