Annoying covers and weird songs
5
This is not the best Nina Hagen and definately annoying in parts, especially the cover songs. This has weird songs on it that are wacky and guitar solos that are tacky and Ave Maria. I don't recommend it. It seems that her ego took ahold of her and she tried to Nina-ize some songs because she lacked her own material at the time. I mean- she started the albumn off with a very annoying Janis Joplin song... I hated it with a passion. Also included is speedin' version of Viva Las Vegas. Help me, help me... I need the Nina that is the fenenchka (?).

This album is good but a little strange. Whit the opening song Move Over ( Janis Joplin ), she makes a good start but the ending of this album is annoying and boring. On this album Nina has a beautiful voice, but she screams a little to much, and the guitar sound is bad. I whould have to say if you have thought about buying this album,THINK ABOUT IT before you are buying it.

Instead try Nina Hagen's new album: Return Of The Mother.

A pleasant album from Nina

I was surprised when i read the other comments. Well, ok, i am a huge Nina Hagen fan and like almost everything she produces...but this album is actually very good. It has songs that even my mother listens to (Ave Maria). I love the tracks Super freak family and Love heart attack. It isn't the best album, but is definitely worth buying!!!!! Enjoy it, I do.
