Being a converted Little Feat fan just for a few years now, it is quite funny to see the intensity of the argumentation from both sides: great stuff (although bootleg) opposed too illegal junk with poor sound quality....
Of course it isn't right that bandmembers do not receive royalties from this cd, on the other hand it truly is a great concert from the early Feats when they still sounded unpolished. The argument that the sound quality was a reason for Barrere not to put it out themselves seems a load of crap judging from the poor sound quality of some of the Raw/Ripe Tomato cd's, which I also love, be it just for music historical reasons.....

Being a major fan of two other Little Feat recordings, was expecting something similar from this. Wrong! Horrible sound quality, bad mix, sounds like it was recorded in a bathtub. If you like Little Feat and want a live recording, go for Goodbye Columbus, or Live from Neon Park.

Why is this thinly-disguised bootleg still on Amazon?

I love Little Feat and all of their live recordings. Which is why I am telling you don't buy this [junk]. Instead, run, don't walk, to buy the newly reissued and expanded Waiting for Columbus (2 CD set with tons of outtakes of excellent, five-star quality), then get Live from Neon Park (excellent live recording from current lineup)then get Hoy Hoy (lotsa live and studio rarities), then if you must, get Expanded Editions (decent live stuff from current band, a bargain). THEN, join the HOY HOY list at [their website] and start trading live recordings expressly authorized by the band. There are amazing live recordings out there, including the very show stolen for this CD, which admittedly is a fine show.
