Kathie Lee Gifford - Pooh's Grand Adventure: Music From And Inspired By The Movie (1997 Video)
Pooh's Grand Adventure: Music From And Inspired By The Movie (1997 Video) Review
Based on the direct-to-video movie Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin, this collection of original songs features six cuts from the movie performed by Pooh and friends, as well as six titles inspired by the movie's theme sung by Kathie Lee Gifford. Tunes by Pooh, Christopher Robin, Owl, Rabbit, and Tigger have a wonderfully endearing traditional quality. "Forever and Ever" performed by Pooh and Christopher Robin is a pure and true celebration of friendship, as is Pooh's version of "Wherever You Are." As the album progresses, the vocalists shift from A. A. Milne's characters to mainstream entertainers--such as Vonda Shepard and Gifford--which creates a more contemporary sound that will appeal to adults. --Deborah L. Moore

DEAR WALT DISNEY COMPANY: If you can't find good music, just reuse the songs from the Blustery Day soundtrack. That's the only thing people can remember anyways. This CD was dreadful and in the future please don't utilize any 'pop' stars to write corny ballads that make no sense. Just give us real Winnie the Pooh music-- not this washed up hippy stuff. Thank you.

I watched the movie with my son one day when he was sick and I knew I had to have this music! The words and music are sweet and inspiring. Makes me want to hug somebody!
