I owned a vinyl copy of this album that got destroyed a number of years ago, so I was excited to find it finally released on CD. Gary Burton's playing on this album is creative, thoughtful, of a very high quality. I have never tired of listening to this album. Give it a try, I guarantee you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Whether it is the incredible solo vibes work on the first half of this album or the later tracks with a jazz/rock combo feel to the backing, it all works well. It seems a bit look two separate albums, but I like both. I have had the original vinyl forever and was waiting for it on CD for years. Give it a listen and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
