The vocalist/guitarist for the widely respected and influential band The Pixies, releases his first official solo album in 9 years. This 14 track collection of ditties, was recorded in Nashville with the aid of keyboardist Spooner Oldham, guitarist Steve Cropper and drummer Billy Block. Features 11 Black originals, such as 'God Find Your Saint', 'Violet' & 'Atom In My Heart', as well as three covers that include Doug Sahm's 'Sunday Sunny Mill Valley Groove Day'. Japanese pressing features the bonus track 'Atlantic'. Track 15 is the bonus track 'Atlantis' (the bonus track is not listed on the back of the CD, only inside with the line notes). Imperial. 2005.
