A Place In Hell Is Reserved For This Guy

There are only a few things that I HATE. War, violence toward women, alcohol, and Eminem. And of all those things, I can avoid three of them, but I can't avoid Eminem. Why? Because he and his record distributors have completely brainwashed an entire generation into thinking this guy is GOD! FLASH! This guy will be gone and his music totally forgotten when the next big rock n' roll thing comes along. You can't hum these tunes. You will never hear them in an elevator. Hell, you can't even transcibe them onto a music sheet. The only thing I can do is not to buy into his scam, and to warn others that this guy is the Devil come to steal your musical soul. I wish I was allowed to say what I really think about Eminem because your ears would be burning. DO NOT BUY THIS OR ANY OTHER ALBUM BY EMINEM, least you be dragged down to HELL WITH HIM!!!

Who wants to pay to hear the same songs over and over again? Sure, there are 3 new tracks, but they all suck (especially "FACK").

The following songs are worth listening to (if you haven't already listened to them a hundred times like I have):

- The Way I Am
- Stan
- Sing for the Moment
- Guilty Conscience

And that is all.

I think it is painfully obvious that Em has dug himself into a commercial hole; he's making music that appeals to the fanbase that he hates (early teens and preteens who only listen to Top 40 hits). It makes him more money. Em couldn't put what he wanted on this compilation, only his popular singles. I think this fact is justified by the "Stan's Mixtape" (which by the way doesn't even come with this package; do a search for Eminem on this site and find "Curtain Call - The Hits [2CD deluxe edition] [Explicit Lyrics]" if you want the bonus disc). Stan's Mixtape has some hardcore Slim Shady LP- and Marshall Mathers LP-era tracks which I think Eminem is more proud of. His true fans prefer these tracks, I know this as fact simply from reading reviews of "Encore" and "Curtain Call".

Eminem himself has hinted at the fact that he makes singles radio-friendly to make money. He has shown regret for making "My Name Is", a "bubblegum rap" song as he called it. He made "The Real Slim Shady" when The Marshall Mathers LP was pretty much finished; he needed a commercial track. Em used to make great music, with a few commercial tracks so that he could make money. After listening to "Encore", it became obvious that he had abandoned his interest in making music, and instead turned to making poppy garbage for people who think he's "fully sick"/"hott". And now, these hits are available together in this decrepit mess know as "Curtain Call".

Don't buy this. If you're an Eminem fan, you've heard it all before. If you're a TRUE Eminem fan, you'll recognize these 3 new tracks as pure garbage.
