You have to listen to this CD to believe it. I hear the Native American flute, drums .... it's one incredible CD. I bought it to learn to drum but enjoy listening to it just for relaxation, trance states, etc. This is superb!

I was extremely disappointed when I purchased this CD. After purchasing Sacred Spirit Drums and Sacred Earth Drums, (both of these by the way are excellent compositions). I figured that with their two earlier pieces of work that I couldn't go wrong in buying "Drum Medicine", boy was I ever wrong. It seems as though Dave & Steve Gordon have decided to cash in our their earlier successes by putting out this piece of garbage. There is absolutely no redeeming value what so ever in this CD. I can not see how anyone could possibly like this CD, if they have heard the earlier works by these two guys. This CD is by far the worst one that they have done. I could not in all good concience recommend this CD to anyone. These guys are capable of much better work than this lack luster effort. This effort will cost them a lot of loyal fans. If you want to hear good
drum and flute music, I would recommend the other two CD's that I mentioned above, but trust me when I tell you that this is one CD that you don't want to waste your time or money on.

This compilation is pure listening pleasure! This is the best music for relaxation, and contemplation. Very comfortable to just sit back,relax, and let your mind wander into the melodies, and intricacies of instrumentation. There is more to this music than flute, and drums, which are brilliantly performed. I first discovered this music on satellite radio as I was returning home. I heard "Eagle Dance", and that just did it! My wife, and I called the DJ, and inquired. After finding David, and Steve Gordon as the artists, I ordered five of their disks. I enjoy every one of them, but "Drum Medicine" is my favorite along with "Sacred Earth Drums". "Eagle Dance" is my favorite song, and I can't get enough of it, whether I'm in the car, or at home.I wish these guys would tour! Now, that would be a concert!
