Drums and violins...A perfect mix!

I don't know quite how to describe this soundtrack. I love the violin melodies, the cello pieces and the powerful drums. A great listen as well as a great enhancement to a good movie.

Avast ye fans of Captain Jack Aubrey!

Okay -- so it took a little longer than I expected. But geez, it was coming from Argentina. And it arrived in great shape. It's a permanent resident of my car's CD changer. A great purchase.

Beautiful violin work!

I purchased this primarily because I so loved the lead violin work that is predominant through the score. It is hauntingly beautiful. (I also ordered the score to The Village by James Newton Howard for the same reason.)

This is one of my all-time favorite scores. I'm sure it will be near the top of my list for years to come.
