Yes, I remember of the photo. I think it was just too much for the journalists present in Brazil's most representative magazines of the last years of the 70's, in the derrocade of the hard politic regimn. Their point appearing in the reviews seemed to be 'So, after Bicho (Animal, from 1997), that? What about the the political rights?' Those who lived Brasil's recent history would see that the civil rights were rithmicly, melodiously and harmoniously strongly defended by Caetano and Gil in the uprisal of the last dictatorship state in Brazil every week in a tv program called "Wonderfull, Marvelous". Because of that they had to spend 8 months in prision and thank God they could leave for England. And after all, a brasilian poet from the south has already once said that when an artist would have to explain his work to his public, one of them would be stupid. Caetano's audience would understand his work because they could feel it! His performance had always been of the highest estetic magnitude, mixed up with deepely altered states of conciousness. This is the album of the beggining of The Other Band of the Earth, the fixed group of musicians that would be togheter until The New Band from 1984, the album of the cover designed by Caetano's primogenitus.
