Best of Britney's songs off "Oops! I Did It Again"

"Stronger" is my favorite song off of "Oops! I Did It Again", so I decided to see what the remixes would be like. There are 2 USA versions: the 2-track one, and the 6-track one. I then got the 6-track version. And boy, I loved it!

1. ALBUM VERSION - Obviously, it's the album version. But it's a spicy, hot, and angry song. In the song, Britney's boyfriend treated her badly and said she would never make it on her own. I could never refuse this song--EVER.

2. MACQUAYLE CLUB MIX - Great remix. It starts off quiet, but then the beat starts pounding and your heart starts pumping. The beat is very uptempo and flaring, so it really makes you jump around a lot. This remix is also the longest on the CD, being a little under 8 minutes. If you want a shorter version, look for the mixshow edit on the Swedish edition of "Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know".

3. PABLO LAROSA'S TRANCEFORMATION - This is a great remix, unless you count the fact that it is something you would probably expect more from Alice DeeJay. It's very techno-ish, and when the music starts, the tune gets extremely flaring-hot. This remix is basically your typical club mix--7 minutes and 24 secs. Surely you'll want to dance. But there is only one problem--and it's kinda big--is that the last choruses were omitted in this remix. True, I was very disappointed. But I still really like it.

4. MIGUEL MIGS VOCAL MIX - Wasn't as bad as I thought. It was rather relaxing and sweet. Still not my favorite, though. It's more like a ballad version of the song rather than a remix. It was an okay remix, nothing more. Could have been improved. By a lot.

5. JACK D. ELLIOT CLUB MIX - Praise Jack D. Elliot!!!!! All his remixes are so amazing, and this one is the best on the CD. (Obviously.) It's so dark and foreboding at first. Then it really starts to pick up, and surely it'll have you going nuts all over the dancefloor. Also in the beginning, there's a lot of vocal manipulation, but I don't mind. Apparently, there's a radio mix of this one, but I don't think it's on CD yet.

6. PIMP JUICE'S "AINT NO SHAME IN THIS VOCAL GAME" MIX - Worst remix on the CD!!!! Lots of annoying sounds and the tune is not good at all. The remix didn't even seem in the right key (although it maybe is, but it's hard to tell). This was the only track on the CD that I hated. Without a doubt, it's one of Britney's worst remixes ever. It's such a pain to listen to.

OVERALL: This single was great! As I said before, "Stronger" is one of my favorite songs, and I'm glad I got this CD.

She's Stronger!

Despite Britney recieving a no. 7 UK charting and her first non-top 5 hit in the UK this is one of her strongest tracks to date. Up to par with "Crazy" which reached no. 5 it is strong, danceable, has a great beat, awesome lyrics, wicked vocals, and is very catchy. Here's my track-by-track review of "Stronger (CD SINGLE)"

1. Stronger (Album Version) (10/10)
One of my favourite tracks of hers to date. Her Max Martin & Rami make this a Britney Spears classic. You've seen the awesome video on MTV and MuchMusic which features a hot chair-dancing routine like in a few older videos of other artists.

2. Walk On By (8.5/10)
It was rumoured for the album and true! "Walk On By" is a great ballad and should have been recieved by fans on her album Diamond sophmore effort "Oops!...I Did It Again".

3. Stronger (Work In Progress Remix) (10/10)
A great remix!

There Ain't No Shame In This Britney Mix Game

"Stronger - The Remixes" is one of the very few commercial singles that Britney has managed to release here in the United States, the others being her debut smash "Baby One More Time" and the tender ballad "From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart". This particular single is tailor made for the dance music fan though, featuring five remixes of the track, each with it's on unique take on the original. Pablo La Rosa provides a strong trance remix on the song with his "Tranceformation". Another remix highlight is the slinky groove of Miguel Migs and his vocal mix take on the song. Those two are probably my preffered versions of the song, but Mac Quayle, Jack D. Elliot, and Pimp Juice all provide solid club reworkings for this independant woman-styled pop anthem.
