Breaking benjamin's debut Saturate was one of those amazing albums that kind of emerged from the bowels of the music industry and became an amazing underground hit. So needless to say that I was on pins and needles waiting for there newest release. Fast forward a little bit. I went out an bought the game Smackdown vs. raw, and the song "firefly" pretty much drives the soundtrack of the game. At first listen the song is amazing, but unfortunatly, it didn't take that long to get old. Yet it was good enough that I went out and got We are not alone as soon as I could and I must say that it did not dissapoint in the slightest. From start to finish this is an amazing album, and in fact it is an improvement from the first. I strongly believe that this album is going to be the catalyst for something much bigger for breaking benjamin.

I Have A Good Feeling About This Band

Breaking Benjamin are a post-grunge band, they follow the traditional slow heavy sounds of good old grunge.(Thank you Kurt Cobain)
This is Breaking Benjamins 2nd album.Any faults from their debut have eaither been cleverly hidden or taken care of.
For a post-grunge band i was amazed by the guitar riffs. They are abit more complicated then what their genre projects them to be.The songs are straight forward with the exception of the hit single "So Cold".Alot more effort was more then likley put into this, compared to their other songs. The song just seems really polished maby over polished for their brutality.
"Follow" is my favorite on the album, a very good blend of vocals and guitar.(Abit faster then the other songs)
"Break My Fall" seems so gentle in the begging and very decieviny with the piano intro.Turns out to be another heavy hit.
"Sooner Or Later" sounds like its opening riff was borrowed from The Matrix. Each song shares atleast one or more things in common with eachother. Not one soft song or mild it's all climatic heavy hit'em songs. At the rate Breaking Benjamin is improving expect their next album to surpass this already mastered album.A very good album for the modern generation.
