it has been a few years since Alice Deejay--judy--has put out her debut album who needs guitars anyway. It still remains as one of the best trance/rave albums ever! I can say that this album is perfect, every song is great and catchy with amazing trance beats. It is the perfect album to get up and dance to or get a good morning workout.
Back in my Life:A great opening to the album and the start of the trance journey. Alice Deejay's 2nd best known hit song that plays in clubs and raves across Europe. The trance riffs are amazing. A real get up and dance song. My 3rd fav song on the cd (5/5)
Better off alone:Alice Deejays best known song, considered the best song on the album. Another great song that shows what a great dj judy is. (5/5)
Celebrate our love:My most fav song on the cd!! I love the beats and the lyrics are nice and kinda draw u into a fantasy. Should be one of her hits. A pure trance song(5/10)
The Lonely one: A hard driven trance song, again the beats are awsome. Judy did another awsome job. (4/5)
Who needs guitars anyway?: The tittle song and the reason why i got the cd. It starts off slow but it gets better the more u listen to it. The rythem is very bouncy. I love the piano solos. Its one of the songs that has no lyrics. My second fav, very cool song (5/5)
Will I ever: third fav, fun and happy song. The song is about Judy wondering if she will fall in love with the person she loves. (5/5)
Elements of life: my forth fav, an electronic riff song, judy's voice sounds very haunting but its still a good club song altogether (5/5)
Fairytales:hmmm...a very so-so song. Mellow sounding, slow electronica dance. Its okay...(3/5)
Waiting for your love: Everyone says this is a filler song on the album, and its not that good but in my opinion i think its good. Not the best not the worst. Its still equally good. (4/5)
No more lies: The peak of the album. Another very amazing song with amazing beats and riffs and the lyrics are very catchy. (5/5)
I can see it in your eyes: Very well made song, a good follow up for no more lies, this album just gets better and better..(5/5)
Everything begins with an E: Kinda sounds like the venga boys music, one song on their platnum album sounds like this song. Another no lyrics song but you gotta love these songs with the piano solos (5/5)
Got to get away:The fastest song on the cd. A solid hard driven trance song (4/5)
Alice Deejay:This song explains the orgins of alice deejay. She closes her eyes, she is rythem, she is music, she's a dj...she is Alice Deejay! My fifth fav song. I love the rythem of the song--trance mixed with electronica and piano beats. A great conclusion to the album and the trance journey. (10/5)
So those are my reviews of the songs. I love this album so much it feels like i can marry it! (just kidding) but still this is an amazing piece of work and i would recomend buying this album to anyone. This is pure trance, this is pure electronica, this is pure dance, this is ALICE DEEJAY!
