I'm a professional organist/pianist in Nashville (see http://www.OrganistOnTheRoof.org) and found this CD to contain very well executed selections of popular pieces suited for traditional ceremonies. I will refer brides to this album when consulting with them. "A Music Fan" who gave these performances one star obviously doesn't play an instrument himself.

It's a beatiful opportunity for selecting (or remembering) the soundtrack at your wedding ceremony. Some of the recordings are a bit pretentious and may somehow override the original score, but most are definitely appreciable. The anthology covers a broad variety of periods and genders: connoisseurs might want to be more selective.

I needed some classical music for my wedding so I pruchased this CD and it is very nice.
I also purchased "Classical Wedding Traditions" (also from amazon.com) I really like that CD too.
